Hi guys! Ever fancied drinking birthday block?

I have funnily enough, so I decided to create this Birthday Cake Milkshake for you guys! It's thick, creamy and filled with sprinkles and cake mix.

Yes, yous heard that right, I used cake mix. For the beginning time ever in my weblog's history!

Although… I did apply homemade cake mix. I promised never to utilise cake mix in baking on my web log as I focus on from scratch recipes, but I thought I'd be forgiven for using information technology in this instance because this milkshake is then darn tasty and information technology totally needs that cake mix. (BTW, I'k non saying cake mix is bad, I'm simply saying my blog focuses on from scratch recipes :)).

I tried without and doing it a whole other way and information technology merely did not sense of taste right! At present though? It tastes just similar cake, only in milkshake class. It is out of this world succulent!

Years ago, I used to go to Milkshake Away. Information technology'south a shop where you can get basically anything you could imagine made into a milkshake; skittles, oreos, minstrels, maltesers, creme eggs… you proper noun it, they've probably got it. They're obviously non the healthiest, simply sometimes you lot just need to indulge and it was worth every calorie.

I ever, always got a Muffin Milkshake… I'm non certain why as I loved the expect of many other milkshakes, but I ever craved that chocolatey milkshake with chunks of muffin in.

And then, my dear affair for cake based milkshakes started long ago and I really don't know why it took me so long to brand my ain cake milk shake. I've made a Biscoff Brownie Shake earlier, merely never ane with cake.

Anyway, if you or someone you love has a birthday coming up, then this will exist the perfect way to celebrate! AND they're fix in 5 minutes! You just demand vanilla water ice cream, cake mix, milk, vanilla extract and sprinkles. Pour information technology into a glass and sip away.

For those people who don't desire to bother with a whole block… my fiancé is 1 of them because he "doesn't really like cake" (all the eye rolls) this shake is the perfect compromise. I mean, hey, if people don't want birthday cake, why can't you still bask it? And in drink form? I would… and probably will come Mr AN's birthday later in the year!

Birthday Cake Milkshake

E'er wanted birthday block in potable class? Well, now y'all can! This creamy shake tastes just similar vanilla birthday block and has sprinkles!

• 2 cups (300g) vanilla water ice foam
• ii/3 cup (120g) yellow or white cake mix
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• 1/ii cup (120ml) milk
• 2 tbsp sprinkles/funfetti, plus more for garnish
• Whipped cream, optional (I didn't use any)

• Identify ice cream, block mix, vanilla and milk into a blender and pulse until smooth. Add in the sprinkles and stir past hand.

• Carve up between one large, or ii small spectacles, tiptop with whipped cream, if desired and so sprinkle with funfetti.

• Altogether Cake Milkshakes are best served immediately.
